Relay for Life

Every year, Relay for Life comes to our campus to raise money to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society.  It is an all night event in which teams have members walking around a track at all times. We have a team signed up under "Habitat for Humanity" and we need you to join it for the Relay for Life TO BE ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2012 YEAR!

How to sign up: 

1. Go to relay.acsevents.org (it is easier than going to Relayforlife.org) 

2. Click where it says "Find an event in your community"

3. Enter in our zip code, 45409

4. Click the #1 option "2012 Relay for Life of the University of Dayton, Ohio"

5. And then click on the 1st option: 2012 Relay For Life of the University of Dayton, Ohio

6. It will take you to the American Cancer Society website for our event.  Click "Sign Up"

7. Then, click "Join Team". Our team name again is "Habitat for Humanity"

8. It will then take you to the donations/registration fee page.  This is actually very important.  If everyone can donate money, we can together raise the $100 fee for registration. But that is only for registering our team- if we can raise more than that, than it is given as donation to Relay, which is the point of the fundraiser!!!  You have some options: (1) You can pay online or (2) or donate when you get there that day!  BUT please please donate to this good cause!  

9. Now you can click on  I prefer not to make a donation at this time.

10. Then click Next step, and either click the New Participant (I HAVE NOT previously registered online for an American Cancer Society event.) OR Returning Participant (I HAVE previously registered online for an American Cancer Society event.)

11. For those that registered or was on a team before, you can use the same user ID and password as you did in the previous year, If you are new then just fill out the info...after clicking Next step

12. And just continue on and fill out the rest of the info required.  

After you have registered, we are asking you to send an email to friends and family about donating to this important cause.
